The Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit will hear arguments in the case of Oracle America v. Google on December 4th 2013. The case concerns Google's unauthorized use of "declaring code" from Oracle's Java APIs and hinges on the question of whether this type of API code is per se uncopyrightable,
